Maui Forest Bird Recovery Project at Flatbread Company in Paia

Join the Maui Forest Bird Recovery Project at Flatbread Company in Paia.

Maui Forest Birds is a research organization dedicated to the recovery of Maui’s native forest birds. They research the rare and endangered Maui Parrotbill, or Kiwikiu, a bird with just 500 birds left in the wild. Restoration of habitat for this bird is one of their initiatives.

Flatbread uses local and organic ingredients in their wood-fired flatbreads.

On benefit nights, a percentage from the flatbread sales goes to forest bird research on the island.

The event is on Tuesday, October 15th from 5 to 10pm. Enjoy flatbread and a small silent auction of bird related art and gear.

Flatbread is located at 89 Hana Highway in Paia.
